Reading List

A new book to consider, I have read it cover to cover and it is very good.

It covers many if not all aspects of the trouble in Granite City from a secular perspective.

The Sociopath Next Door
By Martha Stout PHD.

Buy it at Amazon for Kindle or in hard copy here

Publisher: Broadway (March 14, 2006)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 0767915828
ISBN-13: 978-0767915823

Another good book about this situation is

Confronting Jezebel: Discerning and Defeating the Spirit of Control By Steve Sampson

A very good look at the situation from a Christian perspective.
If you have spent any time in Granite City in front of Hope Clinic get ready for a shock.

Publisher: Chosen (August 1, 2003)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 0800793455
ISBN-13: 978-0800793456

You can also still buy this at Borders Books and most of the local bookstores and Christian Book stores carry this or can order it pretty quick.

These are the main Jezebel characteristics.
But not all Jezebels have all of these traits.
Sound like anyone we know?

1. Refuses to admit guilt or wrong doing.
2. Takes credit for everything.
3. Uses people to accomplish its agenda.
4. Withholds information.
5. Talks in confusion, speaks but never really clarifies a point.
6. Volunteers for everything.
7. Lies. Sometimes for no apparent reason about the smallest of things.
8. Ignores people that could disagree with them.
9. Never gives credit or shows gratitude.
10. Criticizes everyone.
11. Upstages others.
12. Controls information.
13. Uses information.
14. Talks incessantly.
15. Spiritualizes everything.
16. Is insubordinate.
17. Is pushy and domineering.
18. Is clairvoyant. Even to the point of knowing things no one else could
possibly know.
19. Uses the element of surprise.
20. Sows seeds of discord.
21. Commands attention.
22. Is vengeful.
23. Attempts to make you look like you're the Jezebel.
24. Insinuates disapproval.
25. Knows it all.
26. Is over ambitious.
27. Manipulates through gift giving.
28. Is independent, accepting or having no other authority over it.
29. Is super religious.
30. Can hide(appear normal), and strike without warning.
31. Will take advantage of the most easily lead.
32/ Wants or tries to make everyone believe they are the only ones that can do the job or task. Indispensable

The Jezebel may be Male or Female.
Jezebel controllers are almost always motivated by insecurity, and can't tolerate rejection.

Matthew 18 When A Brother Sins Against You

A Brother Who Sins Against You

15 "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.

16 But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'
(Deut 19:15)

17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

When another Christian sins against us, slanders us, assaults us, steals from us.
We are told to Go to him and point out his fault.

If he will not listen go to him again with 1 or 2 others so that "every matter may be established by two or three witnesses."

Deut 19: 15

15 One witness is not enough to convict a man accused of any crime or offense he may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

This is not the only place that this principle is established in God's Word.

2 Corinthians 13

Final Warnings

1 This will be my third visit to you. "Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses."

1 Timothy 5:19

19 Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.

Hebrews 10:26 -30

26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

29 How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"and again, "The Lord will judge his people."

If he will not repent take him to the Church.

But what if he does not belong to or is accountable to any one church?

This blog is not written with a spirt of vengeance, but rather with the spirit of Peace, and the intent of performing due diligence in reporting the conflict that is herein to be revealed and reported.

When the Christian you have been dealing with is not active or accountable to any one church, to whom do you take your offenses?

None other than the entire church, the Body of Christ as a whole.

That is what this blog is intended to do.
